Our commitment
At Country Plaza Medical Centre, we are committed to providing respectful, compassionate, and non-discriminatory care that honours each patient’s values, beliefs, and safety.
We follow the Alberta Human Rights Act. We do not deny anyone our services, or treat anyone differently in providing them, because of their race, religious beliefs, colour, gender, gender identity, gender expression, physical disability, mental disability, age, ancestry, place of origin, marital status, source of income, family status or sexual orientation. This does not prevent care that is medically appropriate to a person’s age or health needs.
Accessibility and accommodations
Our clinic is designed with inclusive, barrier-free access, and ample free parking is available on-site. We make reasonable accommodations so that people with disabilities can use our services, for example:
- Service animals are welcome in the clinic
- Wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility devices are welcome
- You are welcome to bring a family member, friend or support person to your appointment
Please tell us about your needs when you book, or speak to our staff, and we will work with you on a reasonable accommodation.
No retaliation
You will not be treated differently, or lose access to our services, for asking for an accommodation or for raising a concern about discrimination.
Raising a concern with us
If you believe you have been discriminated against, or have not received a reasonable accommodation, please tell us. You can speak to our staff or contact us below. A member of our team will contact you to discuss your concerns.
